Chaste Tree Berries are primarily used to balance hormonal irregularities in mares and relieve the out-of-sorts behaviour of moody mares.

Chaste Tree Berry can also be used to inhibit the sex hormones of stallions if their behaviour is thought to be dangerous or causing them a loss in condition.

It is useful on its own or combined with other hormonal balancing or calming herbs. Chaste Tree Berry is also used to alleviate the symptoms of horses suffering Cushing's disease.

Chaste Tree Berry is sometimes used, with caution, during pregnancy, but only in its early stages. Try starting your mare off on Apple Cider Vinegar then continuing on with a blend of dried herbs such as chaste tree berry and chamomile for hormonal balance and calming effect.

I found this product was so great when used with calming herbs like camomile for my moody mare who had just lost her daughter to a snake bite whom she was very close too and she had also changed paddocks recently. Trin had always been a 'boss' brood mare and I found after losing Diva (her foal) she became very moody and hormonal chase tree was fantastic.

If you read online about chaste tree berry, you will likely encounter stories proclaiming the positive effects of the herb, but you may also come across stories saying that it has had very little effect on some horses.  I suppose this could depend on several different factors including the severity of the horse s condition, the amount fed, and the length of time the horse was fed the herb.
