Our Enduro 410gsm Air Mesh Combo horse rugs are made from our premium Enduro mesh - legendary for their strength and durability.

Often preferred by those with itchy horses, our 410gsm Enduro combos are produced from a custom made superior UV stabilized air mesh, the raised mesh weave construction of this fabric allows plenty of breeze to pass through the fabric and across your horse, keeping the horse cooler and the insects at bay on those hot summer days.

With a generous drop, tent tail flap and belly surcingles - this horse rug has been made with the Australian climate and horses in mind. Ideal for keeping flies, midges & other biters out!

Caribu 410 Enduro Air Mesh Horse Rugs feature:

• Made from strong 410gsm soft polyester mesh fabric
• UV stabilized rating of 85%+ percent protection
• Not recommended for horses with fine or sensitive coats
• Tent Tail Flap (Mare friendly)

Caribu offers 4 different Air Mesh fabrics - which one do I need?

It can be confusing with so many choices! The best rug for your horse on a hot day - is no rug at all. When its 30c+ and/or humid, your horse will sweat under any rug. Sweating is how a horse maintains its body temperature as heat increases. Mesh works best when there is a breeze to allow airflow over and through the horse rug. As a horse owner, its always going to be a compromise between keeping your horse cool, and provide sun and/or insect protection.

Read our helpful guide about the pro's and cons of each of our fabrics. Learn more.

Hi there guys... I purchased one of your blue fly mesh combos last summer for my big t/bred hack... I can honestly say, it is the longest lasting rug I have owned!!! He spent ALL last summer in it and sometimes for days on end - rain, hail and shine...It has not worn anywhere. All clips, buckles and straps are still in place and not a rip or tear in sight!!!! Thankyou for supplying a good quality product that is well within everyone's price range..anyone that is strapped for cash could purchase this rug and never need for another one all summer and spring. Must add - also a great under rug and works the coat as well!!! Grand, grand job guys...cannot reccomend you enough to all my horsey mates!!!
  • Reviewer: Wendy K

  • Reviewer: Amy
A fantastic rug - my boys look fantastic in blue and are lovely and cool, but protected from the sun and bities. Super strong material and best of all I ordered this rug and it arrived the following day! Could not be happier with the product or the service!!! Thanks Caribu!!!!!!
  • Reviewer: Sonia Broi
    Brilliant service and fantastic rug.
  • Reviewer: Tracey Huenerberg
Excellent quality mesh and finish for the price compared to other mesh rugs I have seen. Great fit on my young horse and love the satin shoulder/wither lining as he has very coarse mane which is easily rubbed out. Very happy with product and service as usual. What impresses me even more is that you listen what your customers want in a rug and develop your products accordingly.
  • Reviewer: Naomi
Truely a great rug! Arrived within a couple of days of ordering and has been a godsend with the flys. Has been worn most of summer all day everyday without any signs of wear or tear. Many thanks again!
  • Reviewer: Wendy H
The mesh rugs are great - they wash well and my horses live in them all year round. I love the big tail flaps as it means I don't need to always use tailbags.
  • Reviewer: Gemma
A great rug for an amazing price. Fits my yearling andy perfectly and he is staying cool all day in the Cairns heat.
  • Reviewer: Sally
What a great fitting rug! I have tried and tested so many different kinds and brands of summer rugs, and none have fitted like this one - I recommend Caribu to everyone.
PS - nice fast delivery too!
  • Reviewer: Bev
Amazing value for money this rug is far superior to other brands on the market. My gelding is very broad and I have had trouble getting a rug to fit. The Caribu rug however fits perfectly. Fantastic rug thank you I will be buying all my rugs from Caribu in the future.
  • Reviewer: Rebecca morgan

  • Reviewer: Deb
Got a big paint - very hard on rugs. The 410gsm is amazing - I can get almost 2 years out of one - I think he likes them because they have enough room for a big bulky horse and don't rub or pinch - love the tail flap. Winner.
  • Reviewer: Lianne
