These beautiful soft hand woven Cotton Saddle Blankets are made from first grade cotton thread that is tightly woven to be durable and washable.

These are the perfect blankets to put under your saddle.

They feature:
• Stunning Navaho pattern
• Suede Leather wear patches to reduce girth wear
• Full 76cm x 152cm size allows you to double the saddle blanket and gives extra thickness. (Approx 5mm thickness, 10mm when folded. )
• Thick soft cotton and fully washable.

Horse Hints - No 10

It is better to feed horses at ground level in a safe feed bin than always at chest height in a stable or yard.  

Head down feeding facilities lower airway drainage of lung fluids as a horse eats to help reduce the risk of airway disease, especially after long distance travel.

It encourages a more natural feeding posture to mimic grazing, requiring more chewing and salivation to swallow, which in turn can improve digestive efficiency and minimize the risk of stomach ulcers and colic.
