This "LongGusset" Ripstop combo is designed especially for the broader horses. Our Sportz Full Gusset cotton/polyester ripstop horse rug combo features full length gussets which provide better comfort and freedom of movement in the shoulder area.
We use new poly-cotton fabric incorporating a Dual Ripstop - which is the traditional ripstop with the Blue ripstop thread that we are all familiar with, but each blue ripstop square is made up of 16 smaller ripstop squares - ensuring your rug will stand up to some real punishment!
Designed for the broader horses - the full gusset allows for much more movement/room in the shoulders and will give a much looser fit in this area when compared to traditional short gusset combo in the same size & cut. You need to factor this in when deciding rug sizing and suitability. With a generous drop this horse rug has been made with the Australian climate and horses in mind.
