Caribu Polar Fleece Dog Coat

Our Caribu Polar Fleece dog coats coats are made from a 300gsm fleece and are ideal for keeping your dog snug when indoors. They are also ideal for helping to prevent your dog from shedding hair all over the house.

Coats are sized in 5cm intervals from 30cm up to our bigger 75cm coats. Coats sizing corresponds to the measurement along a dogs back from the collar point backwards.

Feature Packed:
• 300GSM Polar Fleece
• Two Tone Trim
• Adjustable Chest strap
• Adjustable Velcro Belly strap makes the coat easy to fit and get on and off.

Available Colours: Light Blue with Burgundy Trim

Our Prices:
Sizes 30cm to 40cm = $19.95
Sizes 45cm to 55cm = $21.95
Sizes 60cm to 75cm = $24.95

To measure your dog for a coat, take a measurement in a straight line from where you expect the coat to start, (on or just behind the collar at the bottom of the neck), to where you would like it to finish.. Use the pictures below as a guide) Compare this to Measurement "A" in our chart. Also check the drop, "B" to insure it is suitable, by measuring from the middle of your dogs back down over his ribs. If your dog is between sizes - we suggest going down a size - rather than up a size.

Refer to the table below for a measurement guide. "A" Refers the actual length of the coat across the dogs back. "B" refers to the drop of the coat.

Which Caribu Coat for You?

Caribu Alpine: A very warm coat with 200grams of poly fill. The 1200 Denier outer is strong and water proof with an inner Nylon lining. Ideal for dogs who are outside most of the time. Nylon lining means that even if it gets wet, it will dry out quickly and wont be uncomfortable for the dog.

Caribu Highlander: Same design as our Alpine Coat with the strong 1200 Denier outer which is strong and water proof . Instead of a poly fill lining, these coats have a soft Polar fleece lining. Not quite as warm as the Alpine coats, but they do tend to be more snuggly. Ideal for dogs who are a little more protected from the elements. Often suitable for year round use.

Caribu Polar Fleece. Made from soft 300 Gsm polar fleece - these are an ideal dog coat for indoor use. They provide a snug solution on a cold day, but also help to keep your dog from shedding hair all over the house.

Horse Hints - No 21

Reducing the risk of Lameness

A Combination of a well formulated and adequate diet; correct hoof balance by regular and careful trimming to suit a horse’s individual conformation and athletic purpose; avoiding compacted and dry working surfaces; combined with proper warm-up and cooling down procedures, including ice or cold water hosing of the lower limb joints and tendons can help reduce the risk of common leg problems by up to 60%.
