The Caribu "Jackaroo" Dog Bed Mattress is ideal for keeping your dog comfortable & content!
These are the ultimate in bog beds. An excellent design that are not only comfy, but also durable and ideal for use outdoors or in.
The beds consists of a durable removable outer cover and a separate inner pillow. The outer cover features a soft, yet very durable mesh and a water resistant 900 Denier base for long life.
This mesh nylon outer pillow is both breathable, comfortable, practical & strong. The pillow top is lovely & soft to lie on and not harsh like the "Shade Cloth" variety ;)
You can easily remove the outer cover via a zip opening, which makes it easy to wash and maintain. No messy velcro to contend with! The inner pillow is made from a breathable Nylon. You can access the inner fill by a zip to add fill and top up over time to get a perfect pillow.
The bed also features Velcro straps on each corner so that the mattress can be used on a raised dog bed frame or within a pet cage. Also ideal for use in the car.
# Note these are sold without Filling. You will need to add your own poly fill to the desired level. You can add either bean bag polystyrene balls or use hobby fill , both available cheaply from Big W, Kmart, Spotlight and similar stores. This saves you on postage costs for a big parcel - and you can get the bed filling just right for your dog. We recommend filling with hobby fill- its more comfortable and much less tempting for a mischievous dog to discover what's inside his bed ;)
Filling Guide - The easiest way to fill the mattress is to insert the empty inter pillow into the outer cover - then slowly add fill to the desired level. Approx 10 to 15cm thickness is the ideal filling level. Many people tend to overfill them.
