Our Fly Mesh Horse Rugs are legendary for their strength and durability. Made from a superior UV stabilized mesh, the construction of this fabric allows plenty of breeze to pass through the fabric and across your horse, keeping the horse cool and fly free on the HOTTEST of days.
The hood is permanently attached directly to the horse rug. The convenience of a Combo, but with the extra protection of a hood, enclosed ears and for safety - a hood poll strap - all in one. Our poll strap insures the hood stays in place. We do allow extra length in the necks so that the horse can graze freely.
With a generous drop, tent tail flap and belly surcingles this horse rug has been made with the Australian climate and horses in mind. We use a 420gsm Mesh - which is considerably stronger than many competitors rugs, which use a 240gsm mesh. Our mesh is both strong and yet very soft (unlike some!) -with fine mesh holes. (See Insert picture below) . Ideal for keeping flies, midges & other biters out!
Now available with Removable ears - the ears are attached & binded in such a way, that if you prefer to use the hood permanently without ears - they can be cut off down low and the ear hole will still remain binded and prevent fraying.

# 6'0 Sizing is available with either a Cob or Full size Hood attached. Generally we only recommend a COB size hood with a 6'0 rug. Only order a Full Size hood if you are 100% sure. A Full size hood is a large Hood.
