Caribu Eclipse - Turnout Waterproof Horse Rug.
The Caribu Eclipse Rain sheet horse rug is a 1200 Denier Synthetic waterproof ripstop polyester horse rug. (No Fill). This is the rug version of our popular Eclipse Combos.
This Combo Horse rug incorporates a Poly Cotton Satin and can-can mesh lining (No fill). The mesh keeps the denier up off the horses coat and helps with breathability.
This rug is ideal for all seasons and can be used on its own - or as a top layer in the cooler months and layer rugs underneath for added warmth. A great design with quality materials and construction.
What sets this rug apart from others?
We use an advanced 1200 Denier fabric with polymers. The hi-tech manufacturing process insures that the denier fabric works to keep water out - but allows the humid/moist air to escape out through the material keeping your horse - dry but allows sweat and moisture to breath out to eliminate chills. We use a soft can-can mesh lining in our rugs, which significantly increases the breathability of the rug and is superior to other linings on the market.
All Caribu Synthetic Rugs and Combos are rated to a waterproof rating of at least 3000MM - more than twice the minimum requirements. Our Synthetic Rugs have a breath ability rating of at least 3000gr/m2/per24hrs - so you can rest assured that your horse will be snug and warm in the worst of weather. Additionally all our 1200 Denier fabrics incorporate a Ripstop design into the fabric.
