Caribu 'Cambridge' Attached Hood PolyCotton Ripstop Combo Horse Rug
This Cambridge Attached Hood Combo Horse Rug is great for year round use.
The hood is permanently attached directly to the horse rug. The convenience of a Combo, but with the extra protection of a hood, enclosed ears and for safety - a hood poll strap - all in one. Our poll strap insures the hood stays in place. We do allow extra length in the necks so that the horse can graze freely.
We are introducing Full Wrap tail flaps (Mare friendly) across this range for added protection. Depending on your size, your rug will come with our traditional tail flap or a full wrap tail flap. Refer to sizes below for indication of current stock.
We are also using a new dual weave ripstop. Our rugs will be either a square or diamond weave depending on current stock. The Dual weave adds extra strength and durability , with a generous drop this horse rug has been made with the Australian climate and horses in mind.
Don't like Enclosed Ears? With this design the ears are attached & binded in such a way that if you prefer to use the hood permanently without ears - they can be cut off down low and the ear hole will still remain binded and prevent fraying.

# 6'0 is available with either a Cob or Full size hood attached. Generally we only recommend a COB size hood with a 6'0 rug. Only order a Full Size hood if you are 100% sure. A Full size hood is a large hood.
