The Caribu Alpine 300gr is a 1200 Denier Synthetic ripstop polyester Turnout Combo horse rug with 300gm padding to keep your horse warm and snug in the worst of weather. This horse blanket is great design with quality materials and construction The fabric breathes to keep your horse dry but allows sweat and moisture to breath out to eliminate chills.
What sets this combo apart from others?
We use an advanced 1200 Denier fabric with polymers from the worlds leading waterproof Denier manufacturer - we don't use inferior imports. The hi-tech manufacturing process insures that the denier fabric works to keep water out - but allows the humid/moist air to escape out through the material keeping your horse - dry but allows sweat and moisture to breath out to eliminate chills.
All Caribu Synthetic Rugs and Combos are rated to a waterproof rating of at least 3000MM - more than twice the minimum requirements. Our Synthetic Rugs have a breath ability rating of at least 3000gr/m2/per24hrs - so you can rest assured that your horse will be snug and warm in the worst of weather. Additionally all our 1200 Denier fabrics incorporate a Ripstop design into the fabric.
You will notice we use a continuous run of fabric in the neck and body of the combo - no joins or seams or fancy waves in the neck line or back area to let water in!
