Sole Bruise- When “digging” into the sole over the site of a “corn”, bruise or a sore spot, apply a thick coating of crushed ice over the area- hold in place for 5 minutes with a light bandage.

The “icing” will help numb the pain sensors and soften the sole to allow your farrier or vet to dig into the sole to search for a bruise or abscess, with less discomfort to the horse
