The Caribu & Bellaru range of Horse & Pet Wear is based on over 45 years combined experience with everything horses! Horses are a way of life for us, our family & staff and have been for many generations. Through this long time association with the sport, we know how frustrating it is to find good quality horse wear - at an affordable price.

Caribu is a family owned national business, based on integrity & good old fashioned service with a smile ;)

  • We believe Horse ownership should be affordable to everyone.
  • We control the design & manufacturing of our entire range of Caribu equestrian products & horse rugs - we are not just equestrian resellers. Since 2006 our Caribu  & Bellaru Range of Pet Wear has become legendary for value & quality

We have a show pony ‘Fudge' who has severe QLD Itch and even with constant vet treatment he was tearing all the ‘ripstop’ rugs on the market in a matter of hours to the point we were buying him two new ones a week.

I found your site a year and a half ago and ordered the Hybrid rug with the attached hood. In the time since then Fudge has only managed to tear two rugs! His itch has improved significantly and he is a lot happier pony for it.

We have also changed all of our other horses over to Caribu rugs. I find the quality amazing and the postage time is fantastic. We order on a Friday and it is usually here by Tuesday if not Monday afternoon.

Thank-you to all the team at Caribu for such great products and service, we won’t be going back to shop rugs anytime soon!

love the Caribu attached hood rugs. It can be quite hard to buy of the rack rugs for the riding ponys and youngstock but these rugs fit like a glove. no rubbed shoulders and no hoods off because an attachment has broken or come undone. Great rugs...briddle bags are excellent too!

Congratulations on running a great Queensland based company with quality products and super customer service. I first bought summer rugs and dog coats from you several years ago and they are still going strong. Last week I ordered a Euro-mesh combo for my QH. As usual, it arrived super fast and fit beautifully. I can always count on a superb (and consistent) fit and top attention to features and finish - no cheap and nasty shortcuts. The price is unbelievably reasonable for such quality. I am really impressed with the mesh - light weight, with fabulous air flow. In the hot weather we have been having (high 30's and 40 degrees a couple of times) my mare sweats a lot less in this rug than she does when 'naked'. As a bonus, she is less bothered by flies and her beautiful liver chestnut coat is protected from the sun.

I like to 'test run all my new summer rugs before my horses wear them, by wrapping one around me and sitting down in the yard for a bit of reading. It was 33 degrees the day I wore the Euromesh rug and it was great! Some rugs were so hot, I would not put them on my horse.

My horse needs a new winter coat this year, so I have signed up for the VIP promotions and will be back to Caribu for a winter rug.
