Caribu Hybrid Mesh /PolyCotton Attached Hood Combo Horse Rug

This is a fantastic alternative to a full mesh Combo and can be used year round. Our Hybrid Attached hood combos combine the best aspects of both a polycotton rug and mesh all in one rug. The Mesh inserts in the neck and skirts allow extra airflow, keeping your horse protected from the harsh Australian sun & insects while still keeping them cool on those warmer days.

This Attached Hood Rug is great for year round use. The hood is permanently attached directly to the horse rug. The convenience of a Combo, but with the extra protection of a hood, enclosed ears and for safety - a hood poll strap - all in one. Our hood poll strap is an added safety feature to reduce the risk of the hood moving. We do allow extra length in the necks so that the horse can graze freely.

Featurs our 300gsm Diamond Weave PolyCotton ripstop which is strong, but still breathable and cool. The tear/ripstop threads give the Caribu Rug strength and durability.

Don't like Enclosed Ears? With this design the ears are attached & binded in such a way that if you prefer to use the hood permanently without ears - they can be cut off down low and the ear hole will still remain binded and prevent fraying.
