This rug was fantastic and fit my horse great, he rubbed previously but this rug was fine on him. I am very happy with my rug and it looks really cute on him.

These rugs are fantastic and the throat/poll strap is the best idea ever. It holds the hood in place even when your horse rolls the hood doesn't slip. And my horse's rashes from insects have all started to clear up. Hopefully caribu will bring these rugs out in a synthethic for cooler rainy days

What causes Queensland itch and what can I do to manage It?
The usual cause of Queensland Itch is a hypersensitivity to the bites of sand flies (midges) of the species Culicoides. While the bite of the midge is an irritation, some horses develop sensitivity to the bite and will rub themselves so much that they cause injury to their skin and destroy their rugs in the process.
