Caribu Nose Flap
The Caribu Mesh Nose Flap is ideal for offering superior sun & insect protection for your horse and are designed to be used with any style of hood rug.

Constructed from the same fly mesh we use in our legendary horse rugs, the nose flaps are both durable, provide good UV protection and will not hold moisture when wet.

Please note that we do not attach the nose flaps for you. You will need to arrange to have them sewn/attached yourself.

Our nose flaps are 30cm wide x 30cm long at the longest point. They are designed so you can reduce the length of the nose flap to suit your horse. Our nose flaps are shaped so as not to not impede your horses nostrils.

Hi I recently bought the hybrid Mesh rug for my gelding. I would just like to say what a fantastic rug, we had a full week of high 30s to low 40's and my horses (my mare has a similar one) were the only ones to keep their rugs on, all the other horses on the property were stripped of their rugs as it was just too hot. The rug stayed cool enough to keep my gelding safe from the insects and the burning sun. Regards Nicole
