Caribu 'EuroMesh' 270gsm Fly Mesh Attached Hooded Combo Horse Rug.

Caribu's new EuroMesh is a revolutionary new light weight 270gsm Fly Mesh - and no doubt set to be just as popular as our legendary 410gsm mesh. The EuroMesh is a lighter weight alternative to our 410gsm mesh, but still features a similar soft fabric and a tight a weave that offers excellent UV and insect protection.

Made from a custom made superior UV stabilized mesh, the construction of this fabric allows plenty of breeze to pass through the fabric and across your horse, keeping the horse cool and fly free on the HOTTEST of days.

The hood is permanently attached directly to the horse rug. The convenience of a Combo, but with the extra protection of a hood, enclosed ears and for safety - a hood poll strap - all in one. Our hood poll strap is an added safety feature to reduce the risk of the hood moving. We do allow extra length in the necks so that the horse can graze freely when their head is down. Also featuring Removable ears - the ears are attached & binded in such a way, that if you prefer to use the hood permanently without ears - they can be cut off down low and the ear hole will still remain binded and prevent fraying.

With a generous drop, tent tail flap and belly surcingles this horse rug has been made with the Australian climate and horses in mind.

• Enclosed Ears- the ears are attached & binded in such a way, that if you prefer to use the hood without ears - they can be removed.

Should I use a 'Deluxe' Mesh or 'Euromesh' Mesh rug? Mesh rugs have many advantages over ripstop, they are cooler, with better airflow, similar strength and also dry out very quickly after a shower of rain - alleviating itch. Our Deluxe 410gsm rugs and our 270gsm Euromesh rugs are very similar, both soft and both featuring good airflow and UV protection - but each fabric has its own advantages.

Deluxe '410gsm Mesh' - The 410gsm rugs are best suited to horses who need ultimate insect protection. This mesh is both strong and uses a tighter, raised mesh weave which offers improve insect protection. The 410gsm mesh is also stronger and ideally suited to horses who are hard on rugs and suffer from itch and insect bites. This mesh has become legendary for its durability and performance.

EuroMesh '270gsm' - The EuroMesh is a revolutionary new style of soft fly mesh. It features a flatter weave mesh. The holes in the mesh are slightly larger. It has the benefit of being a lighter weight rug, which can be slightly cooler, as you have a lighter weight fabric. Still offering good insect protection, its ideal for horses who don't suffer excessively from itch or insect bites and need a cool general use rug.

I love these rugs too, I have had them for over a year with my itchiest horse wearing it 24/7. They fit my horses well, from a QH to a TB! They take a lot to destroy and wear out. I also have the flag rugs which are fantastic, the face hoods and I have now ordered the hybrid rug. You guys have a great range and are the only place I buy my rugs from. Perfect everytime! I will get some stirrup leathers when you have brown ones again!
