Made from traditional Flag polycotton, our new Flag Attached Hood Combos offer an alternative for keeping your horse cool and covered in the hottest of conditions.

With our design, the hood is permanently attached directly to the horse rug. Our hood poll strap is an added safety feature to reduce the risk of the hood moving. We do allow extra length in the neck section to insure your horse can graze with no interference. Flag is unparalleled in keeping your horse cool and with a generous drop this horse rug has been made with the Australian climate and horses in mind.

# Please note: Flag is a very lightweight fabric weave (like cheese cloth) and is by its nature very cool. However Flag doesn't have the same strength or durability in the material or stitching as traditional rugs and you should expect a much shorter life from them. Flag rugs are very easily destroyed and we don't recommend using Flag on a horse that suffers from itch or loves to scratch, roll. or get into any sort of mischief. Flag is a good alternative for horses who are easy on rugs. Itchy horses will quickly damage the stitching and fabric, especially on hoods, and we recommend using Ripstop or Mesh rugs for those.
